For Sale:: Beetle Catboat AUBREY  Hull #1248 (1967, Concordia Co., S. Dartmouth, MA); Cedar planking on oak frames; Length: 12’ 4”; Beam: 6’; Draft 8” (board up); Displ. 450 lbs. Fully restored in 2010 by Brian McCandless and Graham Ero. This gaff-rigged gem has her original spars, bronze hardware, frames, and planks. New Doyle mainsail and bag with two reef points. Barn-stored and covered each year on fitted trailer over dirt floor. Also included are: mooring cover; original sail with original sail bag; oak/bronze boathook; compass; dock lines; anchor; current Maryland-registered 2010 Shorlander Trailer with spare tire; maintenance tool-kit; and documentation. Restoration in 2010 included fabrication of new stem and fabrication of new oak rub rails. AUBREY won the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Joe Liener award for restoration in 2011 and placed second for restoration in the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival. Selling due to move away from convenient sailing waters.

For Sale:  1976 Herreshoff Eagle, in fair shape on a road ready trailer, boat includes mast, boom, gaff, eagle sail, jib and top sails all in good condition.  Mercury 6hp outboard motor, older electric motors (condition unknown). Work we would do if we kept the boat in our Scout program: cockpit locker hatches replaced, decks painted, hull painted, new mast hoops, clean and varnish all bright work. Selling to raise money to repair another boat in our program.

Special keel model (no center board with OEM bowsprit and small roller furling jib. Mast height approx.28'. Boom length: 14' 6". Hulls pray painted and deckrolled/brushed. New tinted Lexan portlights. New batteries, new batteryswitch, new custom circuit panel ,new navigation, anchor and steaming lights. New automatic bilge pump, new Guppy(Whale) manual bilge pump (accessible from cockpit). Raymarine ST1000 Tiller Pilot. Recent standing rigging, new running rigging, all teak recently oiled, new bottom paint. Bronze through-hulls, Danforth anchors fore and aft. Trailer has never been in the water.
